I visited the project site today to look at the structural condition of the existing first floor and basement walls for the proposed second story addition.
My walk down inspection of the interior and the exterior of the house indicated that the existing walls can safely support the addition of the second floor to the house.
In the following I present some of the pictures I took during my walk down inspection. If anything unusual is encountered when things are opened up in the field, the Project Manager will be notified promptly who will contact the Architect/Engineer for handling the situation in a satisfactory manner.
