Installing Frost Protected Shallow Foundation In SouthEastern Michigan -- ANAND Enterprises Project AsgR1J1401

 This Frost Protected Shallow Foundation for a new ICF house extends only 15" below existing grade in contrast to the conventional 42" frost depth below existing grade -- resulting in substantial savings in labor and material -- 

in the following I present some pictures which show the concrete footing with vertical EPS board insulation and currently the work being done to install horizontal insulation on the exterior periphery at the bottom of the footing.










Next step is to install the Insulating Concrete Form (ICF) walls.
