A new house is built on the site where the previous house had burnt down. Ths strip footings for a six course high block wall to be topped with stick wall construction are 24" wide and will have 2 longitudinal bars min #4 in size. My inspection revealed that the soil is pretty competent and the footings placed thereon will carry all the intended dead and live loads safely and securely.
