I was at the job site to look at the readiness for concrete placement in the pit walls. In the following I present some pictures that I took during my field visit.

Formwork has been installed,  rebars for the peripheral and interior walls were in place, all the appurtenances for the pit walls are in place -- the pit walls are ready for concrete placement.

 

Grouting Of Block Walls Confirmatory Investigation For A Project In SouthEastern Michigan -- ANAND Enterprises Project XhuA1J2001

The Building Official had not received a report about grouting of the block walls for this completed project -- so she asked for a report. This happened to be an after the fact situation where I had to provide a confirmatory report that the block walls were indeed grouted during the construction process.

In the following I present some pictures that were taken during the construction phase and then at the end I have presented some pictures of the exterior of the completed project.

Wood Deck At The Back Of The House And The Kitchen Bump Out Over The Deck -- ANAND Enterprises Project WilJ2J2001

 Following are some pictures of the wood deck at the back of the house with the Kitchen bump out over the deck. The deck and the Kitchen bump out as constructed are structurally sound and will carry all the dead and live loads safely and securely.

Vapor barrier had been installed,  rebars for the peripheral and interior walls were in place, welded wire fabric for the base slab is in place -- the base slab is ready for concrete placement.

REVIEW OF DAMAGE TO CONCRETE AT FRONT ENTRANCE

OF THE GAS STATION

IN SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN

I visited the project site today to review the alleged damage to concrete at front entrance of the Gas Station that occurred from a car hit.

My objective was to look at such things as 

the extent of the damage

whether the damage occurred from the car hit

or

whether the alleged damage was pre-existing prior to the car hit

and provide a report to my findings to my client
