The contractor helped expose the drain tile at a couple of locations and a visual inspection showed that the vitrified clay pipe drain tile is in good shape.

Yes Siree ... building with energy efficiency in mind is very important -- we can not have it as an after thought ... it ought to be the prime consideration right from the planning stage on.
