Looking At Structural Integrity Issues For Supporting HVAC Unit On Bottom Chords of Roof Trusses -- ANAND Enterprises Project GSK_1J1301
If the wall close to the HVAC unit is load bearing, the load will be held for years is my guess.
But the prefab roof truss is not intended for anything but compression and the load is testing tinsel strength against it's design, with only the wall divider as a relief.
If concerned, reversing the load back to the roof truss with either cable and turn buckle or threaded rod relieving stress to upper truss will restore design of compression needs in prefab truss.
